What if the broswer shows "calendar not found" when I am using the correct URL?

Rest assured we have not deleted it. But, if your browser suddenly reports "the requested calendar was not found" or "page not found," here are 6 ways to get back your calendar:
  1. Hit your browser's Refresh or Reload button.
  2. Hit your browser's Refresh or Reload button while holding down the Control key. This is a "hard refresh" that often works better.
  3. If you are using a Mac computer or the browser Opera, use "www.my.calendars.net" instead of "my.calendars.net" to begin the web address.
  4. Try other URLs that go to the same servers, as explained below; this frequently works.
  5. Exit your browser, reload your browser, and go back to your calendar. This ususally works.
  6. If you do not want to exit your browser, clear your browser's cache. In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options. On the General tab, click on "Delete Files" under Temporary Internet Files. In Mozilla or Netscape 6 or 7, go to Edit, Preferences, Advanced, Cache and hit "Clear Memory Cache" and, if necessary, "Clear Disk Cache".
Try Other URLs That Go to the Same Servers

We have had various approaches to domain names. We have settled on using my.calendars.net for the basic free calendars, so the main path to your calendar is http://my.calendars.net/nameofcalendar.
The name of your calendar is up to 16 characters and has no spaces or punctuation. It is the last part of your calendar's web address (like http://my.calendars.net/nameofcalendar).

Note: There is no "www" at the start of my.calendars.net. Since so many people add the "www" anyway, we have set up one of our servers to accept www.my.calendars.net, but this will not be the fastest server available and may become congested.
Earlier, we had used www.calsnet.net/nameofcalendar, which will still work for most people.

Here is the key: Many ISPs now will only connect requests if the DNS path is matched by the reverse DNS path. So the URL most likely to work to get to your free calendar is http://my.calendars.net/nameofcalendar, because all of the IP addresses assigned to my.calendars.net are reverse mapped back to my.calendars.net. The www.calsnet.net domain name is actually an alias for my.calendars.net. So it will work for some people but not all, depending upon their ISPs.

In any event, if your calendar suddenly says it is not found, try:
